There are two versions of this sov with SOV-1 being slim body and the sov-2 slightly larger diameter sliding barrel. These are Omniswivel inline shut off valves that have male and female end to go in between a regulator hose scuba second stage. Items are pictured actual photograph, and honest.

If you regulator has a high pressure seat creep will still build in your hose. This leads to a ruptured hose or blown sov. This unit is the slim version there a big difference in sov quality on market and nobody, but nobody makes higher than Omniswivel.

This pressure would normally be vented via your second stage.
